Report Released in Chester RCMP Matter

The province’s Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) has concluded that there is no evidence to suggest charges against any members of the Chester RCMP arising from an investigation commenced in November 2012.

SIRT is responsible for investigating all serious incidents involving police in Nova Scotia. Investigations are under the direction and control of independent civilian director Ron MacDonald.
