Report Released in Domestic Violence Case
The province’s Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) has released its report in an investigations relating to charges laid against Cst. Natasha Dantiste of the Cole Harbour RCMP. The report is being released at this time to meet the requirements of the Police Act. SIRT had previously issued a media release in this matter at the time charges were laid.

SIRT is responsible for investigating all serious incidents involving police in Nova Scotia. Investigations are under the direction and control of independent civilian director Ron MacDonald, who has the sole authority to determine when charges against a police officer should be laid.
