Call for witnesses to the Investigation surrounding an injury sustained during an arrest by Cape Breton Regional Police

On February 4th, the Province’s independent Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) began its investigation into a report of an injury sustained by an individual while being placed under arrest by members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service.
This incident occurred on Millview Street in Sydney at approximately 10:50 pm.
As the investigation continues, SiRT is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please contact them at 1-855-450-2010 with any information they may have.
