The Serious Incident Response Team is pleased to release its first Annual Report - The First Year in Review.  This report reflects the hard work and dedication of the Serious Incident Response Team during its first year of operation and outlines some of the Team’s goals for the future.

SiRT is responsible for investigating all serious incidents involving police in Nova Scotia, whether or not there is an allegation of wrongdoing. Investigations are under the direction and control of independent civilian director Ron MacDonald.
