Reports Released in Two Cases Where Charges Previously Laid
The province’s Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) has released reports in two recent investigations that resulted in charges being laid. One involves breach of undertaking charges laid September 24, 2013, against Cst. Chris Mosher of the Halifax Regional Police. The other relates to a Motor Vehicle Act careless and imprudent driving charge laid October 24, against Cst. Donald Wadden of the New Glasgow Police Service. SiRT had previously issued media releases in each case at the time charges were laid.

SIRT is responsible for investigating all serious incidents involving police in Nova Scotia. Investigations are under the direction and control of independent civilian director Ron MacDonald.
